We strive to provide necessary information and tools in order to raise public awareness, promote education, create messengers for change, and increase actions to reduce suicide throughout Seneca County.

Resources for flood recovery

After the devastating flooding in parts of Lodi, Covert, Interlaken, and Ovid - the Seneca Co. Suicide Prevention Coalition released a statement showing support for those impacted directly or otherwise. Along with the statement, a series of resources were made avaialble by the Coalition to help those through this difficult time.

Out of the Darkness Walk

Sunday was a stunning success thanks to the days, weeks, and months spent by organizers putting together Seneca County's first ever Out of the Darkness Walk. The walk was held at Sampson State Park, as more than 400 turned out for the day's festivities. Altogether, more than $18,000 was raised for the AFSP.

Talk Saves Lives Training

The Seneca County Suicide Prevention Coalition will be hosting a series of Talk Saves Lives trainings to help educate the community with regard to suicide prevention.
